Immunity Boosting Iced Tea
In my last post I mentioned that I had an immunity booster recipe coming your way, well, here it is. This recipe is everything!, Imagine having iced tea that also doubles as an immune booster? Honestly that is a big win as far as I’m concerned.
I wanted to make a regular immunity boosting paste, that can be dissolved in warm, hot or cold water whenever I needed to drink it. But then I started thinking of a more fun and organic way to make it more enjoyable. As an iced tea lover that I am, I decided to make an Iced Tea Immunity Booster, so I made a pitcher and made sure every one at home had a glass and they all loved it. It was so refreshing and delightful and I’ve been making batches back to back since then. So I have come to share with you as well.
If you are a lover of Iced Tea like I am, then you’re in luck, this tea comes with the added benefits of boosting your immune. This Iced Tea contains loads and loads of great stuff for you. It has Lemon, Ginger Root, Turmeric Root, Mint Leaves and Honey. Fresh Ginger & Turmeric roots are great anti-inflammatories and great anti-oxidants. Lemons are also good sources of Vitamin C and enhances the immune system. So we are talking anti bacterial, anti oxidants, Vitamin C and so many other good stuff.
It helps Jump start your immune and helps to fight off cold and flu. I know this is perfect timing with everything that is going on right now, but it is also great for any time of the day, any season, Virus or not, it is great for the body. Even when all this is over, still make sure you make a pitcher, store in the fridge and share with your family and friends.

1 Whole Lemon
1 Large Ginger Root
1 Large Tumeric Root
3 Bags Black Tea
Small Handful Mint Leaves
1 Ltr Boiling Water
2 Tbsp Honey
- Slice Lemons in fine round slices, cut up Tumeric and Ginger Roots in small bits.
- In a big bowl, add in Black Tea Bags, the lemon slices, tumeric and ginger root pieces, some mint leaves, then pour in boiling water.
- Stir and allow to steep for 15 minutes.
- Transfer Into a pitcher (Without Teabags)
- Add in Honey, stir and place in fridge (allow to chill at least 2 hours) .
- Serve with some Ice Cubes, Lemon Slices and Mint Leaves.

Cook Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 8 Minutes
